Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting, data pipelines, and scalable data models. You will be responsible for building advanced Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and ETL workflows using Microsoft BI tools and Azure data platforms to support business-critical decision-making

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics: Design and deliver high-performance interactive Power BI dashboards, semantic models, dataflows, and Paginated Reports using DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.

Data Engineering & ETL: Build, maintain, and optimize robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SSIS to extract, transform, and load enterprise data into SQL Server and Azure Data Lake.

Database & Query Optimization: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and advanced joins; apply index and model performance tuning for large datasets.

Data Modeling & Governance: Architect star and snowflake schemas, SSAS cubes, and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure, role-based data access.

Automation & Scripting: Leverage Python for basic data preparation and process automation tasks.

Agile Collaboration:



Participate in Agile ceremonies, perform UAT support, validate data accuracy, and translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, data engineering, and data platform management. Core Technical Skills Power BI Stack: Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, Power Query, RLS, Data Modeling, Semantic Models, Paginated Reports, Dataflows.

ETL & Data Pipelines: Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, ETL Pipeline Architecture, Performance Tuning.

Database & Warehousing: Advanced SQL (Joins, Views, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization), Star/Snowflake Schemas, SQL Server, SSAS, Azure Data Lake.

Methodologies & Automation: Agile Project Management, Python (basics for data prep and automation).

Preferred Skills

Exposure to cloud lakehouse platforms like Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics.

Microsoft Certification: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300).
