We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow Discovery Administrator to take ownership of our Discovery and CMDB ecosystem — a role central to ensuring our organization has accurate, real-time visibility into its IT infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and data governance, driving the reliability and scalability of enterprise asset management.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery platform to ensure comprehensive and reliable IT asset visibility
Architect and manage both agentless and agent-based discovery strategies across complex, distributed environments
Install, configure, and optimize MID Server infrastructure, including clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning
Own the integrity of Discovery-to-CMDB data flow, ensuring accurate CI identification and reconciliation through the IRE (Identification & Reconciliation Engine)
Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of Discovery-related issues, partnering closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams




Maintain discovery schedules, credentials, patterns, and probes/sensors to ensure consistent, high-quality data capture
Continuously monitor Discovery health, coverage, and performance, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization

What We're Looking For

6–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, with deep specialization in Discovery and MID Server administration
Solid command of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, and reconciliation logic
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, credential, and connectivity challenges impacting discovery accuracy
Working knowledge of the broader ServiceNow ITOM suite (Service Mapping, Event Management) is an advantage
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
ServiceNow CIS-Discovery certification preferred
