About the Role

V2 Retail Ltd. is looking for an experienced Zonal HR professional to manage and drive end-to-end hiring for stores across Kerala. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of quality manpower for new and existing stores and will involve extensive coordination with store teams, recruitment channels, and local candidates.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in retail/store-level recruitment, positive knowledge of the Kerala local talent market, and the ability to manage hiring targets across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for V2 Retail stores across Kerala.
- Understand manpower requirements from Store Managers / Area Managers and close positions within defined timelines.
- Hire for various store-level positions, including Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, Department Managers, Sales Executives, Cashiers, and other frontline roles.
- Develop and maintain a strong local candidate pipeline across Kerala.
- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, local references, recruitment agencies, walk-ins, job fairs, and other local hiring channels.
- Conduct initial screening, interview coordination, and candidate follow-up.
- Coordinate with business/store teams for interview scheduling and final selection.
- Ensure joining and onboarding of selected candidates within the required timeline.
- Track open positions,interview status, offers, joining status,



and recruitment TAT.
- Build strong relationships with local recruitment vendors and placement consultants.
- Conduct regular market mapping to identify potential candidates in different Kerala locations.
- Support manpower planning for new store openings and replacement hiring.
- Ensure minimum dropouts between offer and joining through effective candidate engagement.
- Maintain accurate recruitment MIS and provide regular hiring reports to management.
- Travel across Kerala, whenever required, for recruitment drives, store visits, and new store launches.

Key Skills Required

- Strong experience in Retail / Store Hiring.
- Minimum 4 years of HR/recruitment experience.
- Prior experience handling multiple locations / zonal hiring will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Kerala's local recruitment market.
- Good network with local recruitment consultants, job groups, institutes, and candidate sources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Kerala.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates from Retail,Fashion Retail, FMCG, QSR, E-commerce, or other high-volume hiring environments will be preferred.
- Candidates currently based in Kerala or having strong local market knowledge will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable managing recruitment for multiple stores and cities simultaneously.
