Role & responsibilities

- Maintain and update maintenance-related documentation, including logbooks, check sheets, SOPs, and Work Instructions (WI).
- Carry out breakdown and preventive maintenance of packing lines and utility equipment.
- Handle manpower and coordinate maintenance activities during shifts.
- Troubleshoot and maintain dairy/food processing equipment, including:
- Homogenizers
- Pasteurizers
- Continuous Freezers
- Candy & Cone Lines
- Hardening Tunnels
- Cup Filling Machines

- Perform maintenance of utility and mechanical equipment such as:

- Pumps
- Compressors
- Chillers
- Dryers
- Boilers
- Pipelines and fittings
- Gearboxes
- Bearings
- Conveyors

- Have good knowledge of mechanical fitting tools and measuring instruments.




- Ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance schedules and timely troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns.
- Follow basic safety procedures and GMP (Valuable Manufacturing Practices) while carrying out maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

- 34 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Maintenance, preferably in the Food/Dairy/Manufacturing industry.
