About the Role

Best Bakers is entering a new phase of growth, with plans to open new outlets, expand its customer base, strengthen its brand and build a professional leadership team across departments. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead talent acquisition, statutory compliance and HR operations. The candidate will play a key role in recruiting senior Heads of Departments (HODs), building teams for new outlets and establishing scalable HR processes to support our expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership Hiring: Drive end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of senior HODs across Production, Operations, Purchase, Marketing, R&D; and other business functions.
- Expansion Hiring: Develop and execute manpower plans for new outlets, including managerial, operational, production and frontline positions.
- Talent Acquisition: Establish effective sourcing strategies,



recruitment processes and talent pipelines to attract qualified professionals.
- HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, EPF, ESI and other employment-related regulations.
- HR Operations: Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, employee documentation and HR administration.
- HR Process Development: Implement standardized HR policies, SOPs, induction programmes and performance management systems across all outlets.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee grievances, engagement, retention and disciplinary processes.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 - 10 years of HR experience, with a strong background in recruitment and statutory compliance.
- Mandatory experience in the F&B; industry, preferably with bakery chains, QSR brands, restaurant chains, catering businesses or food manufacturing companies.
- Proven experience in senior management recruitment and high-volume frontline hiring.
- Experience managing HR operations across multiple outlets or business locations.
- Robust knowledge of Kerala labour laws and applicable statutory requirements.
- Ability to independently manage HR functions and support organizational growth.
- Male Candidates Preferred.
- Candidates from Kerala are preferred.
