Role & responsibilities

- Operate and maintain advanced instruments: SEM, BET, GC, HPLC, GPC, ICP-MS, SAXS, XRD, DSC, TGA
- Coordinate instrument bookings, user access, fair usage policy, and training
- Monitor facility income/expenditure and maintain operational records
- Support upgradation/establishment of teaching & research labs, including procurement and lab manual preparation
- Prepare and implement grant proposals for research infrastructure and equipment sustainability
- Conduct user training, workshops, and outreach programs
- Prepare technical, utilization, and project progress reports
- Other duties as assigned by Head of Department

Preferred candidate profile

- Postdoctoral research experience, preferably with international exposure
- Experience with national booking portals (e.g., DST-ISTEM)
- Experience writing DST-FIST/SUPREME-type grants
- Training/familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 lab practices
