Role & responsibilities

Desktop L1- Roles and Responsibilities :

- Installation and Configuration of OS on laptops & Desktops.
- CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
- Ticketing tool (Service Request portal) knowledge and its functionality.
- Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies
- Installation and Configuration of MS office Troubleshooting issues related to standard office softwares (MS Office Word, xls, PowerPoint etc.).
- Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications and Other applicable business Software’s.
- Installing and troubleshooting SAP, AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Adobe acrobat writer, etc
- IMAC submission for allocation and deallocation of devices
- Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors.
- Installation/Troubleshooting/re-installation/configuration of systems, printers, scanners. Troubleshoot print queue related issues.




- Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers.
- Configure Print Queues for Servers / Users / Groups.
- Troubleshooting of critical network issues for end users.
- Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client.
- Configuration of IP addresses in PCs and adding the same to VLANs (As applicable).
- Installation / configuration of e-mail clients.
- Performing user data recovery as applicable.
- Installation and Configuration of Anti-Virus Software.
- Install approved OS patches onto desktops / laptops.
- Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop with the antivirus software.
- Troubleshooting of critical Desktops & Laptop hardware problems.
- Raising tickets with coordination with vendor for hardware related issues and follow up until closure.
- Pick up the assigned service request & tickets and work until closure
