- Conduct survey to identify the unsafe conditions and acts and take them up for remedial measure.
- Carry out safety talk, safety audits, mock drills, tabletop exercise, hazard identification and risk assessments (HAZOP, MCLS, Risk Analysis etc).
- Focus on Process Safety for new product validations.
- Ensure reporting of accidents/ fire incident/ near miss incidents, conduct investigation in detail, recommend and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain Environment, Health, and Safety MIS.
- Identify training needs of Strides in Setting, Health, and Safety, prepare training material, impart training to ensure Environment, Health and Safety aspects are understood & adhered in the plant.
- Issuing the work permits as per the work permit system, educate all the vendors/ contract workers on PTW permit work requirements.
- Overall monitoring and ensuring the smooth functioning ETP.
