Job Description - CAD Draftsman

Division: Hydro Dams
Location: Gurgaon
Function: Engineering / Project Support

Role Purpose

To provide CAD drafting and drawing support for Hydro Dam projects, ensuring accurate, timely, and quality preparation of engineering drawings in coordination with design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, modify, and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop plans, sections, elevations, layouts, and detailed drawings based on engineering inputs.

- Incorporate design changes, comments, and revisions into drawings.

- Coordinate with design engineers and multidisciplinary teams for drawing requirements.

- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, CAD standards, and drafting procedures.

- Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and documentation.

- Support preparation of tender, IFC, construction, and as-built drawings.

- Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Qualification Experience




- Diploma / ITI / equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Drafting.

- 3-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Hydro, Dam, Water Resources, or Infrastructure projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D or other relevant software will be an advantage.

- Positive understanding of engineering drawings, layouts, sections, and detailing.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and project teams.
