We are looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Engineer to join our procurement team and manage technical sourcing, supplier development, quotation evaluation, negotiation and customer quotation submissions.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of MRO/industrial materials, proven supplier sourcing and negotiation skills, and practical experience in submitting quotations through SAP Ariba, customer/vendor portals and email.

Key Responsibilities

- Review customer RFQs and understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Source MRO, industrial materials, spare parts and engineering products from local and international suppliers.
- Identify suitable manufacturers, authorized distributors and alternative sources.
- Prepare and send RFQs to suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate supplier quotations based on technical compliance, price, availability, lead time, payment terms and commercial conditions.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparisons of supplier offers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database.
- Identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sources for difficult-to-source items.
- Review technical datasheets, specifications, part numbers, drawings and catalogues where applicable.
- Coordinate with Sales Engineers and other departments for technical clarifications.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure quotations are received within required timelines.




- Prepare and submit customer quotations through SAP Ariba, customer/vendor portals and email, ensuring accurate pricing, lead time, technical/commercial information, attachments and required supporting documents.
- Monitor SAP Ariba RFQs, online bidding events, customer portal RFQs, submission deadlines, amendments and customer communications.
- Handle quotation revisions, bid updates, technical clarifications and other customer requirements through the applicable submission channel.
- Maintain proper records of submitted quotations and supporting documents.
- Support procurement activities from RFQ sourcing through PO placement and delivery follow-up.
- Monitor supplier commitments and escalate potential delays or supply issues.
- Support cost-saving and supplier-development initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 36 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing or purchasing.
- Experience in MRO, industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power or engineering supplies is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial products, spare parts and technical materials.




- Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba RFQs and bid/quotation submissions is required.
- Experience submitting quotations through customer/vendor portals and email.
- Experience handling SAP Ariba bidding events, quotation revisions, bid amendments and customer communications is preferred.
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing and negotiation.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and evaluate supplier offers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple RFQs and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Product Knowledge

Candidates with experience in sourcing products such as:

We are looking for a hands-on Procurement Engineer who can independently manage the complete sourcing and quotation cycle:

RFQ Review Supplier Identification Supplier RFQ Technical/Commercial Evaluation Negotiation Quotation Preparation SAP Ariba / Customer Portal / Email Submission PO & Order Follow-up

The candidate should be comfortable handling multiple RFQs with a large number of line items, working under strict quotation deadlines, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Candidates with strong supplier networks and proven sourcing experience will have an advantage.
