Hiring: Project-Based MEP/BIM Coordination Engineer Scion Hotel, Lalitpur (Kathmandu Valley)*

RV Group Nepal is developing Hyatt Place Kupondole — a 106-key select-service hotel in Lalitpur, opening mid-2027 — and we're looking for a *project-based MEP/BIM Coordination Engineer* to close out our MEP drawing package before installation begins.

*The Role*

Vendors will produce their own installation shop drawings — we need someone independent, sitting on the project side, to coordinate the MEP design against Architecture and Structure ahead of that, so vendors execute against a clash-free, buildable drawing set instead of finding conflicts on site.

*What You'll Own*

Federate Architecture, Structural, and MEP models (Revit/AutoCAD Navisworks)

Run clash detection: Pipe vs Beam, Duct vs Cable Tray, MEP vs Structural Elements

Issue clash reports by discipline and track resolution to sign-off

Coordinate shaft sizes, ceiling void depths, and riser routing across Architecture/Structure/MEP

Review vendor shop drawings against the coordinated model once MEP vendors are finalized

Work directly with the architect, structural consultant,



and MEP vendors to close open items fast

*What We're Looking For*

Proven experience in BIM coordination / clash detection for mid-to-large commercial or hospitality projects

Hands-on with Navisworks + Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP disciplines)

MEP engineering background (HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection) — you should understand what you're coordinating, not just run software

Comfortable working directly with an owner's team, moving fast, and closing issues to sign-off rather than just flagging them

Hotel/hospitality project experience is a robust plus (NFPA + brand-standard coordination awareness)

Project-based / contract engagement, scoped to the MEP coordination package

Kathmandu-based or willing to work closely with a Kathmandu project team
