Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer with robust experience in AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, CI/CD and production infrastructure. The role involves building and managing scalable, secure and highly available cloud platforms, automation and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and EKS clusters.
- Manage and troubleshoot production Kubernetes environments.
- Build reusable infrastructure using Terraform and automate deployments.
- Design and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop automation using Python and Bash.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry/SigNoz.
- Handle production incidents, troubleshooting and RCA.
- Implement AWS security, reliability and cloud cost optimization practices.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, Security and Product teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices.

Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering / Cloud Infrastructure.




- 3+ years of experience managing production Kubernetes/EKS environments.
- Strong AWS, Terraform and CI/CD experience.
- Strong production troubleshooting and RCA skills.
- Experience with 247 production environments/on-call support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.

Tier 1 Non-negotiable

- AWS (multi-region production)
- Kubernetes cluster operations upgrades/version lifecycle, node groups, autoscaling (Karpenter/Cluster Autoscaler), CNI/CoreDNS/kube-proxy, RBAC, capacity
- Amazon EKS specifically (not ECS; not AKS/GKE as the only exposure)
- Terraform
- Jenkins / CI-CD
- Python / Bash • Linux
- Incident management, on-call, RCA on production
- 5+ years, with end-to-end ownership of at least one migration or platform

Tier 2 Strongly preferred

- Internal developer platform / IDP over Kubernetes (Facets, Backstage, Humanitec or in-house)
- Prometheus rule authoring recording rules, cardinality, Alertmanager routing
