Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer III (SDE III) to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade backend systems and AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern AI technologies, while contributing as a senior individual contributor within an agile engineering team.

This role requires deep technical expertise, robust problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive complex projects from design through production deployment.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient backend services using Java and/or Python.
- Build cloud-native applications and microservices using Spring Boot and industry-standard design principles.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Develop and integrate Agentic AI solutions, including AI agents, orchestration workflows, and LLM-powered applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and optimize data models for both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Build highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of handling large-scale workloads.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, observability, and operational best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance, reliability,



and scalability improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions and architecture reviews.

Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
- Experience building applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Principles, and common Design Patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Experience designing and developing distributed applications and services.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing Agentic AI applications using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks.




- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience implementing Business Driven Development (BDD) practices.
- Exposure to platform engineering and cloud-native architectures.
