Immediate Senior SAP Basis Consultant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support and manage a complex SAP landscape consisting of OnPremise ECC, CRM, and SAP S/4HANA RISE. The ideal candidate will have robust handson experience in Basis administration, cloudbased RISE operations, system performance, upgrades, and integrations. This role will support ongoing operations as well as a multiyear S/4HANA RISE transformation program.
Key Responsibilities

- Endtoend SAP Basis administration across ECC, CRM, BW, and S/4HANA RISE
- System performance management, tuning, workload analysis, and troubleshooting
- Support S/4HANA RISE operations:
- System provisioning
- Transport management
- Monitoring & alerting
- Integration with SAP BTP

- System refreshes, client copies, kernel upgrades, patching
- SAP HANA database administration, backup/recovery, performance optimization
- Collaboration with SAP, hyperscaler teams, and AMS partners
- Support SAP BTP services and hybrid integrations
- Ensure high availability, DR readiness,



and system resilience
- Work with functional teams for deployments, cutovers, and release management
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational standards
- Participate in major transformation activities:

- S/4HANA RISE migration
- Cloud readiness
- System consolidation
- Landscape optimization

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of SAP Basis experience in large enterprise landscapes
- Strong handson experience with ECC, CRM, and S/4HANA RISE
- Deep knowledge of SAP HANA administration and performance tuning
- Experience with SAP BTP, cloud integrations, hybrid landscapes
- Strong understanding of SAP transport management, CTS+, and change control
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM
- Familiarity with SAP security concepts, roles, profiles, audit requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, DB, and OS layers
- Experience working with SAP support, OSS notes, incident management
