JOB DESCRIPTION Graphic Design Trainer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Graphic Design Trainer who can train students and learners in graphic design concepts, tools, and practical design skills. The trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging, hands-on sessions and helping learners develop industry-relevant design skills through practical projects and real-world examples.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct graphic design training sessions for students/learners.
- Teach fundamental and advanced concepts of graphic design.
- Provide hands-on training using industry-standard design software.
- Train learners in tools such as:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Canva
- CorelDRAW or other relevant design tools
- Teach principles of layout, typography, colour theory, branding, composition, visual hierarchy, and design thinking.
- Create practical assignments, projects, and design challenges.
- Guide learners in developing posters, social media creatives, presentations, brochures, logos, branding materials, and other design projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluate learner performance.
- Use real-world examples and industry projects to make sessions practical and engaging.
- Support learners in developing portfolios and improving their design skills.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessments, and learner progress where required.
- Adapt teaching methods according to the learners' age, skill level, and learning requirements.
- Stay updated with current graphic design trends, tools, AI-assisted design tools, and industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Strong practical knowledge of graphic design principles.
- Proficiency in at least 2–3 professional design tools.




- Previous experience in graphic design training, teaching, mentoring, or professional design work.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical design concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good portfolio demonstrating graphic design work.
- Ability to conduct interactive, activity-based, and project-based training.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with school students, college students, or young learners.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of AI-based graphic design and creative tools.
- Experience developing training modules, worksheets, assignments, or assessments.
- Strong understanding of social media design and digital content creation.
- Ability to mentor students in portfolio development.
