High School Principal IB World School | IB DP/CP | IB, IGCSE, A-Level & AP | International K-12 Education | 8+ Years | Mumbai

A leading education organisation is setting up a new international school in Mumbai and is looking for an experienced High School Principal to lead Grades 9-12.

The role requires strong expertise in IB Diploma/Career-related Programme, along with hands-on exposure to IGCSE, AS/A Level and Advanced Placement (AP) curricula. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in academic leadership, faculty management, examination administration and student outcomes within an international school environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the academic and operational delivery of the High School (Grades 912) across IB DP/CP and other international curricula.
2. Drive academic excellence through curriculum planning, assessment, performance tracking and continuous improvement.
3. Lead, mentor and evaluate teachers, Heads of Department, coordinators and academic support teams.
4. Oversee IB, IGCSE, AS/A Level and AP examination processes, ensuring compliance with respective board requirements.
5. Partner with students, parents, faculty and senior leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive and high-performing school environment.

Requirements:

1. Masters degree in Education,



Educational Leadership or a relevant discipline; Doctorate is preferred.
2. 810+ years of teaching experience, including significant experience with the IB Diploma Programme.
3. 3–5+ years in a senior academic leadership role such as Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Section or DP Coordinator.
4. Mandatory experience with IGCSE and AS/A Level, with working knowledge of Cambridge International and/or Pearson Edexcel examination processes.
5. Mandatory exposure to Advanced Placement (AP), including AP course delivery, College Board processes and examination administration; IB Category 1 DP training is mandatory.
