Artist Manager - Music & Talent

Original Sing is looking for an Artist Manager who wants to work closely with artists, understand their music and personalities, help shape their journeys, and create meaningful opportunities around them.

This is not a coordination-heavy role. Youll work directly with the Founder and artists across releases, recordings, shoots, content, events, partnerships and business development.

25,000 monthly retainer + up to 10% incentive on new business originated and closed.

Mumbai-based. Flexible working structure.

The Role

The Artist Manager will:

- Work closely with Original Sing artists and understand their music, creative direction, priorities and individual personalities
- Be present for recordings, shoots, meetings, events and other important artist moments where useful
- Support release planning, artist positioning and day-to-day coordination
- Act as a trusted sounding board for ideas, content, collaborations and opportunities
- Represent artists professionally across relevant industry conversations
- Build relationships across music, entertainment, brands, events and media
- Identify meaningful collaborations, performances, appearances and partnership opportunities
- Pitch artists and releases to relevant industry contacts
- Explore licensing, sync, brand and other commercial opportunities
- Manage incoming opportunities and help take the right ones through to closure




- Create or coordinate relevant social content, including posts, reels and release-related updates for Original Sing channels
- Build a strong long-term network and opportunity pipeline around the artists

What Were Looking For

- A genuine love for music and strong music sense
- The ability to understand artists as people, not simply as content or commercial assets
- Empathy, discretion and sound judgement
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Good commercial instinct and an ability to recognise the right opportunities
- Confidence in reaching out, pitching and following through
- An understanding of artists, audiences and the broader music ecosystem
- Initiative, responsiveness and reliability
- Genuine interest in what Original Sing is creating
- Basic familiarity with video editing, social content creation and AI-assisted creative tools is preferred

Relevant industry relationships are valuable, but music sense, judgement, trust and genuine connection with the artists and their work matter just as much.

Working Structure

This role is based in Mumbai.

The Artist Manager will work closely with the artists, Founder and industry ecosystem.



In-person collaboration may include recordings, shoots, meetings, events and creative sessions whenever useful.

There are no conventional working-hour expectations. What matters is responsiveness, ownership, trust and outcomes.

The role need not be exclusive. The Artist Manager may have another professional commitment, provided it is transparently disclosed wherever required and there is no material conflict of interest.

Commercial Structure

The role offers a 25,000 monthly retainer, initially for a 3-month engagement, followed by a review based on contribution, progress and fit. In addition, the role includes a performance-linked incentive of up to 10% on current business directly originated and closed through the Artist Managers efforts.

As Original Sing grows and the scope of the role deepens, the retainer can evolve accordingly.

Success will not be measured only by immediate revenue. Artist support, quality of relationships, outreach, introductions, opportunities created, content support and the commercial pipeline built will also matter.
