Role Overview:

- We at VIAPROM are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Data Analyst with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in the Banking domain to join our team in Mumbai.
- The ideal candidate must possess expert-level SQL and Python programming experience to analyze large-scale banking data, build data pipelines, automate reporting, and generate actionable business insights.
- Candidates from non-banking domains will not be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Analyze large volumes of banking data to identify trends, business opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Write highly optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions, and complex joins to extract and manipulate data.
- Develop Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Design and maintain ETL processes for integrating data from multiple banking systems.
- Create dashboards and reports to support business, operations, risk, and management teams.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis on business issues using data-driven approaches.




- Validate data quality, ensure data accuracy, and resolve inconsistencies.

Desired Candidate Skills:

- 3 to 4 years of relevant Data Analyst experience exclusively in the Banking domain.
- strong in SQL and can write complex, optimized queries without assistance.
- solid in Python for data analysis, automation, and transformation.
- Can independently analyze business problems and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Possess excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Can communicate technical findings effectively to business stakeholders.
- detail-oriented and capable of handling large, complex datasets.

Preffered Skills

- 3 to 4 years of Data Analyst experience.
- Banking domain experience is mandatory.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
- Expert-level Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience working with large banking datasets.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in data modelling and machine learning models are added advantage.
