Role & responsibilities

A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for our students. The role is divided into three key areas:

1. Teaching Your Subject (60% of time)

- Teach English and Social Studies (SST) to your designated classes.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning gaps and provide constructive feedback.
- Build a positive, joyful, and rigorous classroom culture focused on deep academic growth.
- Collaborate with parents through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement in student success.

1. Student Mentorship (20% of time)

- Mentor a cohort of 15-20 students throughout the academic year.




- Develop and execute actionable plans to instill strong study habits, maintain high attendance, and drive academic excellence.
- Share effective mentorship strategies with teachers across the broader ecosystem.

1. School Projects & Leadership (20% of time)

- Collaborate with Senior Teachers to implement school-wide projects such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness programs, Annual Day, and Sports Day.
- Leverage these opportunities to strengthen your personal leadership skills and mentor incoming teachers.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: B. ED / CTET/ MTET (Complete)

- Skilled Qualification: B.Ed. Degree completed with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- Experience: 0 to 5 years of teaching experience. Candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience teaching secondary grades are preferred.
