Role & responsibilities -

- Assemble drone airframes, motors, propellers, landing gear, payload mounts, and other mechanical components.
- Install and connect flight controllers, ESCs, GPS, sensors, receivers, power modules, batteries, and other electronic components.
- Perform soldering, crimping, cable routing, connector installation, and wiring harness assembly.
- Follow engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
- Configure and perform basic functional checks of drone electronic systems.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-assembly inspections.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and wiring-related faults.
- Assist engineers during prototype assembly, testing, and product improvement activities.
- Maintain proper assembly records, inspection checklists, and traceability documents.
- Ensure finished drones meet defined quality and safety requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Design, build, and maintain customise UAVs across defence, agriculture, and infrastructure inspection verticals, managing structural design, composite fabrication, avionics integration, test flights,



and operational handover;
- Conduct UAV flight performance analysis to identify aerodynamic inefficiencies and control response gaps, implementing hardware and software corrections to improve endurance, stability, and payload capacity;
- Ensure full DGCA UAS Rules 2021 regulatory compliance across all developed platforms, managing airworthiness documentation, certification procedures, and regulatory approvals throughout the product lifecycle.
- Able to develop and document standardised SOPs for UAV inspection operations, data capture protocols, and flight safety management systems deployed across all field project engagements.
- Engineer fixed-wing and multirotor UAV platforms from concept through certified production-ready systems, leading mechanical design, electronics integration, flight control configuration, and airworthiness validation.

Preferred candidate profile -

- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in drone/UAV, RC aircraft, robotics, electronics, or automotive assembly.
