SAP TM Technical Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM (Transportation Management) Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA TM, integration development, enhancements, and support. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP TM implementations, custom developments, integration with logistics modules, and transportation process optimization.

Must-Have Skills

- 5 to 15 years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP TM Technical.
- Experience in SAP TM implementation, rollout, or support projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP TM technical architecture and configurations.
- Hands-on experience in developing TM enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Expertise in SAP integrations using CPI/PI/PO, IDocs, APIs, and Web Services.
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA Migration and TM embedded architecture.




- Solid understanding of transportation planning and execution processes.
- Experience working with logistics modules such as SD, MM, EWM, and LE.
- Good-to-Have Skills

- SAP TM Certification.
- Experience with freight procurement and carrier collaboration.
- Knowledge of SAP Event Management.
- Exposure to Global Trade Services (GTS).
- Experience in Agile delivery methodology.
- Retail, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain domain experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and support SAP TM technical solutions.
2. Build interfaces between SAP TM and external logistics/carrier systems.
3. Develop custom reports, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
4. Perform data migration and integration activities.
5. Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
6. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
7. Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
8. Support S/4HANA transformation and TM implementation projects.
9. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
10. Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
