*Job Purpose*

The Team Teacher supports the Mother Teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young learners (Nursery to Grade 2).

The role focuses on assisting in classroom instruction, student care, and smooth classroom operations while gaining hands-on teaching experience.

The Team Teacher plays a key role in ensuring student well-being, supporting learning activities, and building positive relationships with children.

*Key Roles & Responsibilities*

1. Curriculum Planning & Instruction

- Assist in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Support play-based and experiential learning
- Help manage small group learning and individual attention

2. Classroom Environment

- Maintain a warm, safe, and organized classroom
- Support routines and transitions smoothly
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation

3. Student Support





- Provide individual attention to students
- Assist children in developing basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Support emotional and social development

4. Classroom Management & Safety

- Ensure hygiene, safety, and well-being of students
- Assist in supervision during activities and transitions
- Follow all safeguarding protocols

5. Parent Interaction Support

- Assist in maintaining student records and observations
- Support documentation of student work and portfolios
- Help in preparing basic reports

6. Collaboration

- Work closely with Mother Teacher and staff
- Participate in school activities and events
- Engage in learning and career development
