Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot with a focus on reliability, fault tolerance, and performance at scale.
- Build and optimize production-grade data pipelines for both stream processing and batch processing to prepare datasets for analytics and modeling.
- Implement and integrate messaging and streaming components using Kafka and related distributed messaging patterns.
- Develop database-backed services using SQL and work with relational and distributed data stores.
- Apply engineering best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, and Agile iterative development; follow reliability and scalability principles for cloud deployments.

Skills Required:





- 8+ years of related work experience; 6 - 10 years relevant experience
- Java (hands-on development experience)
- Spring Boot (microservices development)
- SQL (relational database querying and data access)
- CI/CD and production software practices (testing, deployment, and iterative delivery)

Valuable to Have:

- Spark (stream/batch processing)
- Kafka (distributed messaging/streaming)
- Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
