Role & responsibilities

Requirements:

• The candidate must be a self-starter, who can work under general guidelines in a

fast-spaced environment.

• Overall minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in Banking Domain, wholesale

banking product knowledge and experience preferred.

• Possess good proficiency in Data Model design with respect to conceptual,

logical & physical models

• Understand and prepare Data Lineage document covering end to end flow.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas regardless of the

technical capacity of the audience

• Ability to understand business problems/needs and translate into sustainable

data model design / solution

• Excellent presentation and documentation skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

• Work closely with developers and testers to support the development and testing

process

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to meet business needs

Skills Required:

Role Specific:

• Sound understanding of Banking Regulations and Reporting.

• Extensive SQL/similar tools experience in Data Analysis

• Manage day to day ad-hoc business requests for information and analysis

• Leadership skills and presentation skills are highly desirable

• Provide leadership to Business Analysts working in the program and assume

accountability for all the deliverables

• Responsible for capturing,



elaborating business requirements & real-time

analytics use cases in the journey, customer campaign and real-time analytics

and translate them into user stories and functional design.

• Engage and Elicit business requirements from stakeholders in a challenging

environment

• Documenting the process/data flows & data mapping, processing and validation

rules for use cases

• Ensure development team is able to deliver to business requirements

• Adhere to SCRUM timeline and deliver accordingly

• Prepare User Manuals and conduct Business User training sessions on product

Technical Skills:

• Experience in SQL/PL SQL - Must

• Worked in Unix/Linux environment Valuable to have

• Experience in ETL, Data modelling

Other Skills:

• Should be able to work with the team and support the module lead

• Strong analytical and data management skills such as Data gap analysis,

documenting source to target mappings with complex transformations,

Data Profiling, Data Lineage will be added advantage.

• Should exhibit logical and analytical thinking and able to provide solutions

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills with an ability

to formulate and communicate strategies in a clear and compelling way

• Self-driven and proactive in reaching out to multiple stakeholders

• Must be a smart worker rather than a hard worker
