- Assign accurate medical codes to patient records using IPDRG guidelines.
- Review and analyze patient data to identify relevant diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for coding accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any discrepancies or questions related to coding.
Job Requirements :
- 1-5 years of experience in medical coding (IP DRG) or equivalent certification.
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS Level II codes according to established guidelines.
