Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, GenBI, Text-to-SQL, and AI/BI solutions to develop scalable data and AI-driven analytics solutions.

- Develop data and AI solutions using Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL.
- Build and optimize Text-to-SQL models and GenBI solutions.
- Design and maintain semantic layers, metadata rules, and AI/BI Genie Agents.
- Work with Unity Catalog for data governance, security, and architecture.
- Develop and manage Bronze, Silver, and Gold data pipelines.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured metadata and data rules.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, and business teams.

Preferred candidate profile





- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or AI application development.
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark SQL.
- Expertise in Databricks notebooks and Unity Catalog.
- Proven experience with Text-to-SQL, Semantic Layer, GenBI, or AI/BI Genie Agents.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical/metadata rules.
