Job Title-

SAP Basis Administrator – Fresher / Entry-Level

Location - Pune

Job Summary :

We are looking for an SAP Basis Fresher to support SAP system administration activities. The candidate will assist in maintaining SAP landscapes, monitoring system performance, and ensuring smooth system operations under the guidance of senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

1.System Administration:

· Assist in the installation and configuration of SAP systems under supervision.

· Monitor SAP systems, including application servers, background jobs, and work processes.

· Perform basic client administration tasks.

2.User & Security Management:

· Create and manage users using SU01.

· Assign roles and profiles.

· Handle basic authorization-related issues.

3.Transport Management

· Support the Transport Management System (TMS).

· Import/export transport requests across landscapes (DEV, QAS, PRD).

4.Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor SAP system logs using:

· SM21 (System Logs)

· ST22 (ABAP Dumps)

· SM37 (Job Monitoring)

Identify issues and escalate them to senior consultants.

5. Backup & Performance (Basic Exposure)

· Assist with database monitoring.





· Support backup activities under guidance.

· Assist with basic SAP system performance monitoring.

Required Skills – Mandatory

· SAP Certification in Basis / S/4HANA Administration.

· Basic understanding of:

SAP Architecture (3-Tier)

SAP Landscape

System Monitoring

· Technical Knowledge

· Basic knowledge of:

Linux/Unix OS

SAP HANA fundamentals

Networking basics

Soft Skills

· Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· Willingness to learn and work in shifts (important for support roles).

· Positive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· B.E / B.Tech / MCA / B.Sc IT or related field.

· Internship or hands-on SAP practice (IDES / Training System).
