Role Summary

We are seeking a Test Architect to define and govern the end-to-end V&V; architecture spanning MBSE system models and MBD-generated embedded software, for next-generation construction equipment control platforms. This is a leadership role owning process, tooling, and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the overarching MBSE-to-MBD-to-embedded-code verification architecture and toolchain strategy
- Establish enterprise-level traceability framework linking SysML system models Simulink design models generated embedded code test cases HIL/vehicle validation
- Architect the HIL/test-bench ecosystem strategy across multiple machine platforms/product lines
- Set organizational V&V; standards, templates, and KPIs; drive ASPICE/ISO 26262/ISO 25119 process compliance
- Own tool-chain selection and integration (DOORS/Polarion + Simulink + dSPACE/NI + test management tools)
- Provide technical governance across distributed/outsourced engineering teams; run design/test reviews




- Act as technical authority in client/OEM engagements — architecture reviews, maturity assessments, pre-sales technical scoping
- Drive continuous improvement: model-based test generation, coverage automation, defect trend analysis

Required Skills

- 8+ years in embedded systems, with deep expertise across MBSE (SysML), MBD (Simulink-based code generation), and embedded V&V;
- Proven experience architecting V&V; frameworks for safety-relevant embedded systems (automotive, off-highway, or industrial)
- Solid command of ISO 26262 / ISO 25119 / IEC 61508 and ASPICE processes
- Hands-on and architectural-level experience with HIL systems, requirements management, and traceability tooling
- Experience managing/mentoring distributed engineering teams, including outsourced/incumbent transition scenarios
- Excellent stakeholder communication — able to represent technical strategy to client leadership

Nice to Have

- Background across automotive + off-highway/construction/material handling domains
- Certifications: CSPO, SAFe, Kepner-Tregoe, or equivalent
