JOB DESCRIPTION – PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Position: Physiotherapist
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to provide comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to senior citizens and patients recovering from illness, surgery, injury, neurological conditions, and other mobility-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and evaluate residents' mobility, strength, balance, and functional limitations.
- Prepare individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans based on each resident's condition and requirements.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, strengthening exercises, balance training, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Assist residents with post-operative, post-hospitalization, neurological, orthopedic, and age-related rehabilitation.
- Support residents in improving independence in walking, transfers, and daily activities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation of assessments, treatment plans, sessions, and patient progress.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding resident care.
- Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, posture, mobility, fall prevention, and home-care practices.




- Ensure all physiotherapy equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Identify changes in a resident's physical condition and promptly report concerns to the medical team.
- Follow all company healthcare, safety, hygiene, and documentation protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid professional registration where applicable.
- Experience in geriatric care, rehabilitation, hospital, neuro, orthopedic, or post-operative care will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient approach toward senior citizens.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with the healthcare team.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge and a strong interest in geriatric rehabilitation may also be considered.
- Should be punctual, qualified, well-groomed, and committed to patient care.

Compensation & Work Schedule

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on experience and skills
Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday
