.NET + Azure Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced .NET + Azure Engineer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Azure, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications, cloud-native solutions, reusable frameworks, and microservices. You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and help drive modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- Design and develop microservices and event-driven applications for cloud-based environments.
- Build reusable frameworks, libraries, APIs, and application components.
- Develop and integrate solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
- Work with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and Application Insights.
- Implement infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Work with tools such as GitHub Actions, Git, Artifactory, Fortify, and SonarQube.
- Write automation scripts using Python and/or Shell scripting.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide effective root-cause solutions.




- Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver product features.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to a team-oriented engineering culture.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in software development, design, and implementation of enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
- 5+ years of experience developing Microservices.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Functions
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Application Insights
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with:
- GitHub Actions
- Git
- JFrog Artifactory
- Fortify
- SonarQube
- Experience with Python and/or Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, coding standards, design principles, and best practices.




- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.
- Exposure to Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL/ELT, and Data Modeling.
- Experience in the Healthcare / Provider domain.
- Experience with Agile Central / Rally.
- Experience working with global and geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of cloud security, application performance, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or engineers.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software design, development, and implementation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong focus on code quality, performance optimization, security, scalability, and maintainability.
