About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong knowledge of Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) to facilitate Agile delivery and ensure effective collaboration between cross-functional teams, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in Scrum/Agile environments and a good understanding of banking and financial products, processes, and regulatory-driven technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and other Agile sessions.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth sprint and project delivery.
- Remove or escalate team impediments, blockers, risks, and dependencies that may impact delivery.
- Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization, refinement, estimation, and sprint readiness.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, burndown/burn-up charts, cycle time, and other Agile metrics.
- Ensure that the team follows Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and agreed delivery processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and dependent teams to manage inter-team dependencies and delivery risks.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Support release planning, UAT coordination, release readiness, and production deployment activities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure that retrospective action items are implemented.
- Prepare and maintain Agile dashboards, reports, and project metrics using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Proactively identify delivery risks and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
- Work within a Banking & Financial Services environment,



understanding business requirements and technology processes relevant to BFSI projects.

Banking & Finance Domain Knowledge

The candidate should have practical knowledge or project experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Banking applications and financial services platforms
- Core Banking Systems
- Digital Banking / Internet Banking / Mobile Banking
- Payments and transaction processing
- Cards and merchant services
- Loans and lending platforms
- Insurance or financial technology
- Investment / Wealth Management
- KYC, AML, compliance, and regulatory processes
- Customer onboarding and financial account management
- Banking APIs and third-party financial integrations

Required Skills

- Experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Delivery professional.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
- Robust knowledge of Banking & Financial Services (BFSI).
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Strong stakeholder and communication management skills.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Good understanding of Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Sprint Predictability.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple dependencies and coordinate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience working on enterprise-level Banking/Financial Services projects.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven technology environments.
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
