Position: Mechanical Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our automation team. The candidate will be responsible for designing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), automation systems, mechanical assemblies, Machine Designs and components, working closely with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design mechanical systems, machines, assemblies, and components for automation and SPM projects.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
- Prepare drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Modify and customize designs according to project requirements.
- Design mechanisms and assemblies for integration of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Review designs for functionality, safety, reliability, and ease of maintenance.




- Support prototyping, testing, and design validation.
- Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and improved efficiency.
- Coordinate with automation, electrical, production, and project teams.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of Mechanical Design and Machine Design.
- Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo / similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of SPM, automation machinery, fixtures, jigs, and mechanical assemblies.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
- Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
