About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Associate / Outsourcing Staff to join our U.S.-based audit and assurance team, supporng audit engagements primarily for U.S.-based clients across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build deep experse in U.S. GAAP and auding standards while working as part of a collaborave, cross-border team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, prior exposure to U.S. or global outsourcing engagements, and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in US focused or international audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Auditing and Financial Reporting

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the guidance of senior/ U.S. based team members

- Perform risk assessments and analytical reviews as part of engagement planning
- Document internal controls and perform tests of controls
- Perform substantive testing on balances and transactions
- Assist in drafting financial statements and other client deliverables
- Support compilation, review, and financial statement preparation engagements
- Document control deficiencies and assist in developing recommendations for improvement

Engagement and Team Support

- Proactively communicate with U.S. based engagement teams to gather information, resolve queries, and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with U.S.-based Senior and Partners on tesng results and engagement deliverables.
- Participate in on-the-job coaching, mentoring,



and firm learning & development programs
- Maintain flexible working hours with 3-4 hours of daily overlap with PST time zone

Administrative Responsibilities

- Enter time daily for accurate tracking and billing
- Follow all firm policies, procedures, and quality control standards
- Maintain strong documentation standards in line with firm-approved audit methodology
- Accept additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications Education

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) required
- CA Intermediate (both groups) required
- CA /ACCA/ CPA preferred

Experience

- Articleship completed with a Top 15 CA firm in India, with deep knowledge in the domain of audit required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in US / Global audit services required • Experience with U.S. based Not-for-Profits (Preferred)

Technical Skills

- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. auditing standards
- Robust understanding of accounting theory, principles, and practices • Proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced functions) and MS Word
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines under pressure

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Collaborative team player with a high degree of personal and professional integrity

• Adaptable and comfortable working across time zones with onshore U.S. teams
