Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise mobile and web applications.
- Define and drive solution architecture for cloud-native applications using Microservices.
- Establish coding standards, design guidelines, and development of best practices.
- Review application architecture, code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
- Drive API-first development using RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on complex architectural challenges.
- Ensure adherence to secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.

Engineering & Delivery Management

- Own end-to-end product delivery from requirement analysis to production deployment.
- Manage sprint planning, release planning, estimation, and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Teams, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Vendor Teams.
- Drive Agile/Scrum practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Cloud & DevOps

- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, observability, and scalability of applications.
- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams for cloud deployment and monitoring.

People Management

- Lead and manage a team of developers, leads, architects, and QA engineers.
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, career development planning, and mentoring.




- Build high-performing teams through coaching and technical leadership.
- Support hiring, onboarding, resource planning, and capability development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Mobile Technologies

- Native Android (Java/Kotlin)
- Native iOS (Swift)
- Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
- Mobile application architecture and performance optimization

Web Technologies

- Angular / React
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Responsive and Progressive Web Applications (PWA)

Backend & Microservices

- Java, Spring Boot / Node.js
- Microservices Architecture
- Event-Driven Architecture
- API Gateway patterns
- Service Discovery and Distributed Systems

API Technologies

- RESTful APIs
- GraphQL
- API Security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)
- API Management Platforms

Cloud & DevOps

- Kubernetes
- Docker
- CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Infrastructure as Code concepts

Databases

- PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
- MongoDB, DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases

Monitoring & Observability
