This role owns end-to-end order fulfilment visibility — ensuring
dealer orders are captured, validated, and executed within agreed
daily and weekly plans — while actively communicating forward
demand signals to the warehouse and material planner. Beyond
transactional order management, the Sales Order Lead nurtures
dealer confidence, flags growth opportunities, and supports dealers
in expanding order size and frequency.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management & Plan Adherence
Validate, and process dealer orders in SAP
Ensure daily dispatch plan is met against committed order book
Monitor weekly order fulfilment rate; flag deviations early
Escalate stuck or delayed orders to ASMs and SCM Head
Warehouse Coordination & Next-Day Planning
Share next-day order schedule with warehouse by agreed cut-o
Communicate vehicle loading sequence and priority dispatch flags
Confirm FTL consolidation opportunities for dealer clusters
Track loading completion and coordinate dispatch confirmations
Material Planner Interface – SKU Shortage Alerts
Identify SKUs at risk of stockout against pending order book
Raise shortage flags to material planner with demand urgency context
Track replenishment commitments; update dealer ETA accordingly
Maintain rolling SKU availability tracker for order desk use
Dealer Support & Growth Nudging
Conduct regular check-ins on dealer order cadence and otake
Identify low-ordering dealers and trigger structured outreach
Share SKU availability, scheme, and FTL benefit information proactively
Support dealers in planning larger consolidated FTL orders
Relay dealer feedback on service, availability, and pricing to SCM Head

Qualifications
Graduate / MBA – Operations or Supply Chain
3–6 years in order management or inside sales operations in FMCG industry
Distribution / FMCG / building materials preferred
SAP SD / Order Desk experience preferred
