Assistant Manager-National-Assurance-ASU - FAAS - FinancialAccountingAdv - Bangalore

Responsibilities

- Support Axiom Basel III / Basel 3.1 Capital, RWA, COREP, CCR and Pillar 3 reporting implementations and regulatory change initiatives.
- Maintain end-to-end data lineage, regulatory process maps, calculation logic documentation, and reporting traceability from source systems to regulatory submissions.
- Assess regulatory and capital impacts arising from Basel reforms, new products, portfolio changes, and regulatory policy updates.
- Support target operating model design and regulatory reporting architecture, including controls, governance, and reporting efficiencies.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, and user stories with full lifecycle traceability.
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams to deliver scalable and compliant reporting solutions.
- Define and strengthen regulatory reporting controls covering completeness, accuracy, reconciliation, auditability, and governance requirements.
- Drive improvements to reconciliations between source systems, calculation engines, Axiom, and regulatory reporting outputs.
- Support reporting production cycles, regulatory submissions,



period-end reporting activities, and operational readiness for regulatory releases.

Skills and attributes

- Strong experience in Axiom Regulatory Reporting, Capital Adequacy, Credit Risk RWA, COREP, CCR, Pillar 3, and Basel/EBA/PRA regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end business analysis, functional design, and delivery across complex regulatory reporting data flows.
- Solid understanding of regulatory controls, data governance, audit requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in SIT, UAT, Validation Testing, Defect Management, and Regulatory Release Implementation.

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, MBA Finance or equivalent) preferred.
- Agile, SAFe, PMP, Business Analysis, or Regulatory Reporting certifications advantageous.

Experience

- 3-6 years of strong relevant experience
