Role & responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering strong engineering practices and a high-performance culture.
- Own the frontend technology strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap across products.
- Design and build scalable, performant, and maintainable web applications.
- Drive adoption of modern frontend engineering practices, frameworks, tools, and development standards.
- Provide strong technical direction and conduct architecture/design reviews for complex systems.
- Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Establish and improve engineering processes around code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive technical initiatives across multiple teams and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and engineering bottlenecks.
- Define and track engineering metrics related to productivity, quality, performance, and delivery.
- Participate in hiring, team building, performance management, and career development of engineering talent.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology priorities aligned with business objectives.




- Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and evaluate their relevance to PRISM's technology ecosystem.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience in frontend development.
- 3+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Angular, or similar.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, component-based development, and scalable UI systems.
- Experience building and operating large-scale, high-traffic web applications.
- Robust understanding of web performance, browser fundamentals, responsive design, accessibility, and SEO.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks and engineering best practices.
- Strong understanding of API integration, REST/GraphQL, authentication, caching, and state management.
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud environments, monitoring, and production engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
