Senior Zoho Developer

Experience: 6-9 years in software development, including at least 4 years building on the Zoho platform.

Key responsibilities

- Design and build custom modules, layouts, blueprints, workflows, and approval processes in Zoho CRM and Zoho Creator.

- Write clean, reusable Deluge scripts for business rules, validations, scheduled jobs, and integrations.

- Build Creator customer portals for external users, including SAML sign-in, role-based access, and self-service forms.

- Build server-side services on Zoho Catalyst (Functions, Data Store, Job Scheduling, Signals) for ledger, payment, and high-volume logic.

- Integrate Zoho with external REST APIs and webhooks (payment/ACH providers, KYC vendors, distributor systems, the client's POS platform), using OAuth, retries, and idempotency.

- Configure Zoho Books (or Billing) for invoicing and journal posting, working within Zoho API limits.

- Break epics into tasks, estimate them, and track your pod's progress and risks with the tech lead.

- Review code and configuration, enforce standards, and mentor developers in your pod.

- Work with QA on test data and defect fixing through SIT and UAT, and support cutover and go-live.





- Document designs, configurations, and runbooks for handover.

Must-have skills

- Deep hands-on Zoho CRM customization: custom modules, blueprints, workflows, custom functions, roles and profiles, and sandbox.

- Zoho Creator: forms, reports, pages, workflows, and customer portals.

- Advanced Deluge scripting.

- Zoho REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhook integration, including awareness of API credit and rate limits.

- Integrating third-party systems through REST/JSON APIs.

- Delivered at least two production Zoho implementations end to end.

Positive to have

- Zoho Catalyst (Functions in Node.js or Java, Data Store, ZCQL, Job Scheduling, Signals, Stratus).

- Zoho Books or Billing, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Desk, Zoho Flow, Zoho Sign, Zoho Directory / SAML SSO.

- Fintech or payments domain: ACH/NACHA, card payments, ledgers, reconciliation, KYC/OFAC.

- Zoho certifications (for example, Zoho CRM or Creator-certified developer).

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
