About The Role
We are looking for a Wealth Manager / Relationship Manager to manage client relationships and support the growth of the wealth management business.
The role involves understanding clients' financial goals, risk profiles and investment needs, helping them with personalised financial planning, and supporting client acquisition, onboarding and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of clients and act as their primary point of contact.
- Understand clients' financial goals, investment objectives and risk profiles.
- Conduct client discussions and assist in developing personalised investment and financial plans.
- Support clients across investments, insurance, tax planning and debt within the advisory framework.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and identify portfolio rebalancing opportunities.
- Address client queries and provide timely support throughout their investment journey.
- Coordinate with the research team to ensure recommendations align with the investment philosophy.
- Identify opportunities to introduce relevant wealth management offerings based on client requirements.
- Support new client acquisition, onboarding and conversion.
- Build long-term client relationships and contribute to client retention.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and advice in accordance with regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, relationship management, financial planning or investment advisory.
- Good understanding of equities, mutual funds and basic financial planning.
- Strong interest in investments and personal finance.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and simply.
- Comfortable interacting with clients and building long-term relationships.
- Comfortable with client acquisition and sales-oriented responsibilities.
- Strong ownership and willingness to learn.
- High integrity and ability to work in a regulated, compliance-focused environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech/startup environment.
- NISM certification(s) preferred.
Good to Have
- Client-facing financial services experience.
- Exposure to HNI or mass-affluent clients.
- Experience in direct sales or client acquisition.
- Knowledge of PMS, insurance or other financial products.
- NISM Investment Adviser certification or willingness to pursue it.
