- 5+ years expertise in HCL Commerce and/or IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) 8.x store customization, business logic, tools, catalog/order/user flows, and integration with back-end systems. v8 experience is the hiring bar; later Commerce versions are a plus, not a substitute.
- 5+ years Java development and OOD skills on large IT systems (J2EE on WebSphere Application Server strongly preferred).
- 3+ years Spring / Spring MVC; hands-on Spring Boot (REST APIs, service integration) required — not “Spring on a rsum only.”
- 5+ years web services (REST and SOAP).
- 5+ years source control (Git required; SVN/CVS acceptable as prior experience).
- 3+ years JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Next.js and React experience required (production storefront or equivalent, not tutorials-only). TypeScript preferred.
- Experience with Agile delivery using Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket/Git, Confluence).
- Robust communication skills; proven team player.
