Role Description The Water Treatment Technician is a full time, in office role based in the Pune Division. The technician will monitor and operate water and wastewater treatment systems, including equipment start-up, shutdown, and routine checks to ensure efficient and compliant performance.

Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing water samples, performing basic laboratory tests, adjusting chemical dosing, and documenting results in logs and reports. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance, identifying operational issues, coordinating with senior engineers or supervisors on corrective actions,



and supporting commissioning activities for new or upgraded systems. The technician will also follow safety procedures, assist with environmental compliance documentation, and communicate operational status and findings to the team and clients as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Water Testing and Analytical Skills to collect samples, perform basic laboratory analyses, and interpret results for system optimization.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment processes to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot treatment systems and associated equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to report findings, document operational data, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Resources, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations and safety practices related to water and wastewater operations.
- Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, manage shift-based duties if required, and handle physical tasks associated with plant operations.
- Prior experience in water or wastewater treatment plants, RO systems, or related utility operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard monitoring instruments, basic computer skills for data entry and reporting, and a willingness to learn advanced treatment technologies.
