Qualification

- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering, or
- Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering, or
- M.Sc. in Chemistry

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Spares & O&M; Business Head with strong technical and commercial experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry.

The candidate should have substantial experience in Operation & Maintenance and Spares business for WTP, ETP, STP, UF and RO systems, along with proven capability in business development, sales, team leadership and achievement of revenue targets.

The role requires a candidate who can independently manage the O&M; and spares business, lead large operational teams, maintain high standards of plant performance and safety, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Head the Operation & Maintenance and Spares business for WTP, ETP, STP, UF and RO systems.
- Manage the overall performance, profitability and growth of the O&M; and spares division.
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to achieve agreed revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new O&M; contracts, spares opportunities, AMC opportunities and business expansion possibilities.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, technical offers and contract-related documentation.
- Participate in client discussions,



negotiations and commercial closures.
- Monitor execution of O&M; contracts and ensure contractual service levels and commitments are achieved.
- Provide technical guidance for process-related and operational issues across treatment plants.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance activities are planned and executed effectively.
- Monitor plant performance, process parameters, equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely availability and supply of critical spares and consumables.
- Lead and manage a large O&M; workforce of 150+ employees across multiple locations/sites.
- Review manpower deployment, productivity, attendance, training and performance of O&M; teams.
- Coordinate with customers, site teams, engineering, procurement, service and management.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory, environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures and best practices across all O&M; locations.
- Prepare MIS reports covering revenue, sales pipeline, site performance, manpower, service issues and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and business performance.





Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in O&M; and Spares related to:
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Ultrafiltration (UF)
- Reverse Osmosis (RO)
- Solid technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Strong understanding of plant operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in business development and sales.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Experience independently managing an O&M; workforce of 150+ employees.
- Strong understanding of statutory, environmental and safety requirements.
- Experience handling multiple customer sites and large O&M; contracts will be preferred.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Good customer relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should combine strong technical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment operations with commercial and business development capabilities. The candidate should be comfortable managing large teams, handling key customers, resolving technical and operational issues, and independently driving the growth and profitability of the O&M; and Spares business. Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
