Role Summary

Responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations across multiple locations, ensuring effective inventory management, order processing, dispatch, manpower utilization, and timely deliveries while maintaining operational cost and service-level targets.

1. Warehouse Operations

- Manage overall operations across 3 warehouses in different cities.
- Oversee inbound, unloading, QC, GRN, putaway, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse functioning and adherence to SOPs.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, space utilization, stock accuracy, and operational efficiency.

2. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving inventory, expiry, damages, shortages, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses based on business requirements.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Conduct and monitor regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.

3. Order Processing & Fulfilment

- Manage the complete order fulfilment cycle from order allocation to dispatch.
- Monitor pending, hold, part-allocated, and cancelled orders.
- Ensure orders are processed within defined TAT.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve order and inventory-related issues.

4. Logistics & Last-Mile Coordination

- Coordinate with logistics/LM teams and courier/transport partners for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor RTO,



short shipments, damages, delivery delays, and transporter issues.
- Ensure same-day pickup wherever committed.
- Resolve logistics escalations and improve delivery performance.

5. Manpower Management

- Plan and manage manpower requirements across warehouses.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Manage supervisors, picker-packers, loaders, and other operational staff.
- Track attendance, productivity, overtime, and manpower utilization.
- Identify manpower gaps and arrange additional resources when required.

6. Cost Control

- Monitor warehouse and manpower operating costs.
- Track cost per order and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Optimize manpower deployment, logistics expenses, packaging consumption, and other operational costs.• Work with management and finance teams to maintain operational budgets.

7. SOP & Process Improvement

- Develop, implement, and monitor warehouse SOPs.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Improve processes related to inbound, inventory, order processing, dispatch, and logistics.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time.

8. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Finance, HR, Technology, Sales, Customer Support, Procurement, and Logistics teams.




- Resolve operational dependencies and escalations.
- Ensure warehouse requirements are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technology teams for system/order/inventory-related operational issues.

9. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
- Monitor KPIs including order processing TAT, inventory accuracy, dispatch performance, order pending, RTO %,

damage/shortage %, manpower productivity, cost per order, and warehouse utilization.

- Present operational performance and improvement plans to management.

10. Team Leadership

- Lead and motivate warehouse operations teams across multiple locations.
- Set KRAs and performance expectations for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Build accountability and ensure compliance with operational standards.
