Job Summary The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the complete warehouse and stores operations, including raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, inventory control, inward/outward movement, storage, dispatch, manpower, ERP transactions, and warehouse compliance. The role requires strong coordination with Production, Purchase, Quality, Dispatch, Accounts, and Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Warehouse Operations

- Manage day-to-day warehouse and stores operations.
- Ensure proper receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and material movement.
- Maintain proper material identification, location mapping, and bin management.
- Ensure systematic storage of raw materials, components, packing materials, and finished goods.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards.

1. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum stock, and slow/non-moving inventory.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper control over material shortages, excess stock, damages, and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare inventory reconciliation reports.

1. Inward & Outward Material

- Supervise receipt of raw materials and other incoming materials.
- Verify quantity and documents against PO, GRN, challan, invoice,



and other records.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming material inspection.
- Ensure proper documentation for material issues and returns.
- Monitor finished goods movement and coordinate with Dispatch for timely deliveries.

1. ERP & Documentation

- Ensure timely and accurate ERP transactions for:
- Material Receipt / GRN
- Material Issue
- Stock Transfer
- Return Material
- Finished Goods Receipt
- Dispatch
- Maintain proper warehouse records and documentation.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure system stock and physical stock remain properly reconciled.

1. Team & Manpower Management

- Lead and supervise warehouse/store staff, operators, and contract manpower.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Train employees on warehouse procedures, safety, material handling, and 5S.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, performance, and manpower utilization.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability for warehouse operations.

1. Coordination

- Coordinate with Purchase for material availability and pending receipts.
- Coordinate with Production for material requirements and timely issuance.
- Coordinate with Quality for inspection, rejection, and hold materials.
- Coordinate with Dispatch/Logistics for finished-goods movement.




- Coordinate with Accounts/Commercial regarding documentation and stock reconciliation.

1. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure secure handling and storage of materials.
- Maintain proper stacking and storage standards.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and material-handling equipment.
- Maintain emergency access, fire-safety arrangements, and clear warehouse pathways.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and stores management in manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory control and material management.
- Strong ERP/SAP knowledge.
- Advanced MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, 5S, cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and warehouse layout.
- Good understanding of GRN, material issue, stock transfer, dispatch, and return processes.
- Strong team-handling and manpower-management skills.
- Good communication and interdepartmental coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
