Key Responsibilities1. Inventory &
- Stock Management
- Maintain real-time accuracy of stock levels for all titles, grades, editions, and educational kits.
- Perform routine cycle counts and physical stock audits; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock arrivals from printing presses and paper suppliers, verifying quantities against purchase orders and checking for physical damage.

Order
Fulfillment &
- Dispatch Operations
- Manage end-to-end picking, packing, bundling, and shipping processes for bulk school orders, retail distributors, and direct school deliveries.
- Prepare delivery notes, packing lists, gate passes, and shipping documentation.
- Partner with logistics providers, courier services, and freight transporters to coordinate timely pickups and cost-effective deliveries.
3.
Warehouse
Organization &
- Maintenance
- Design efficient layout plans (zone, aisle, shelf tagging) optimized for quick access to high-turnover school titles.
- Enforce proper storage standards to protect print inventory against humidity, pests, dust, water, and physical damage.
- Maintain strict standards for warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security.
4. Team Leadership &
- Peak Season Planning
- Supervise, assign tasks to, and evaluate warehouse helpers, pickers, and packers.
- Prepare operational strategy for academic peak seasons (managing temporary staff, shift scheduling, and high-volume dispatch workflows).
- Train warehouse personnel on safe handling practices, inventory software, and quality control.
Required Qualifications &
- Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3–5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in book publishing, printing, paper manufacturing, or stationery distribution.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Zoho), and Microsoft Excel.
- Operational Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory control methods (FIFO, LIFO), stock audit procedures, and freight dispatch logistics.
- Physical &
- Leadership Capability:
Ability to manage physical labor requirements, work extended hours during peak academic seasons, and effectively lead a operational team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of educational publishing cycles and school distributor networks.
- Experience handling barcode scanning systems and inventory tagging.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
