Role & responsibilities

- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment estimates and hospital charges.

- Explain packages, billing details, payment procedures, and financial requirements.

- Coordinate with Billing, Insurance/TPA, Admission, and other departments.

- Assist patients with insurance/TPA-related financial queries.

- Follow up on pending payments and documentation.

- Maintain proper records of counselling and financial discussions.

- Ensure clear and professional communication with patients and attendants.

- Support the team in achieving departmental collection and revenue objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline.

- 15 years of experience in hospital billing, financial counselling, insurance/TPA, or a similar healthcare role preferred.

- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office and hospital billing processes.

- Ability to handle patients and attendants professionally.

- Candidates with hospital/healthcare experience will be preferred.
