OceanOwe Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to restoring and protecting seas, oceans, and beaches from pollution for current and future generations. Through hands-on cleanups and environmental awareness campaigns, the organization works to remove waste from marine environments and prevent further damage. Volunteers and partners engage in ocean and beach cleanup initiatives that safeguard marine ecosystems and preserve coastlines.

OceanOwe also focuses on environmental education, inspiring communities to adopt responsible waste management and sustainable practices. The foundation invites individuals worldwide to collaborate in building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Role Description This is a part time, remote Volunteer role with the OceanOwe Foundation. Volunteers will support day-to-day coordination of cleanup activities, including organizing and promoting ocean and beach cleanup events with local community partners and participants.

Responsibilities include assisting with outreach and communication,



creating or sharing educational materials about marine pollution and sustainability, and helping manage volunteer sign-ups and basic reporting on activities. Volunteers may also contribute to social media updates, online community engagement, and documentation of impact through photos, stories, and simple data collection. The role involves regular collaboration with the core team, attending virtual meetings, and proactively identifying opportunities to expand the foundation’s reach and impact.

Qualifications

Students pursuing Graduation, Post-Graduation, or Diploma in any stream are eligible to apply.

Freshers and individuals with a strong interest in social work, environmental conservation, community engagement, or volunteerism are encouraged to apply.

Candidates from all academic backgrounds, including Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Engineering, Law, Social Sciences, and other disciplines, are welcome.

Prior volunteering or relevant experience will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Applicants should possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment towards community and environmental initiatives.
