The Opportunity

We’re looking for a versatile, creative, and motivated Visual Designer to join our team at Obraz.

The primary focus of this role is Graphic and Visual Design, with the ability to create and edit engaging video content when required. Familiarity with Figma and UI/UX design is an added advantage.

The ideal candidate will create high-quality visual content to support our marketing initiatives, website presence, social media channels, and digital communication. You will work closely with marketing specialists, product managers, and other teams to create engaging digital assets, compelling video content, and visually consistent experiences that align with our brand identity.

What You’ll Own1. Graphic & Visual Design

- Generate compelling graphic design assets for social media content, digital marketing campaigns, presentation decks, and website visual updates.
- Create visual content that aligns with the company’s brand identity and communication goals.
- Establish and maintain the company’s brand guidelines, visual identity, and design systems across all touchpoints.
- Develop creative concepts and visual directions for marketing campaigns and digital communications.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail across all visual deliverables.

2. Video Editing
- Edit, assemble, and finalize video content including product demos, social media reels, promotional materials, and other marketing content.
- Create engaging video narratives with appropriate pacing, transitions, typography, and visual elements.
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, and animated transitions when required using After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- Manage the creative workflow from basic storyboarding to final exports for social and web formats.
- Adapt video content into formats suitable for different digital platforms and marketing requirements.

3. UI/UX & Figma




- Design modern and responsive user interfaces using Figma when required.
- Create basic wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Support website and digital product visual requirements when needed.
- Apply basic UI/UX principles to create clear, intuitive, and visually consistent digital experiences.

4. Collaboration & Workflow
- Work closely with marketing specialists, product managers, and other teams to translate requirements into effective visual content.
- Manage multiple creative requirements and timelines while ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Maintain organized creative workflows and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with visual design, video content, social media, UI/UX, and digital design trends.

What Makes You a Great Fit

- 1–4 years of professional experience in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Good hands-on experience with video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, composition, and digital design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Figma is preferred.
- Basic understanding or practical experience in UI/UX design.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing work. UI/UX work is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple creative requirements and deliver work within timelines.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of visual craftsmanship.
- Willingness and availability to work strictly onsite at our Mannarkkad office.

Good to Have

- Experience in motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.




- Experience with UI/UX design and prototyping using Figma.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with sound design, audio cleanup, and basic color grading.
- Experience using generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience working in a technology, AI, SaaS, or product-driven startup environment.
- Experience creating visual content for technology products or B2B audiences.

Education Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or formal qualification in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia, UI/UX Design, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.

Equivalent practical experience supported by an exceptional portfolio is equally valued.
