Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Visual Design Lead with 7 to 8 years of retail experience to oversee the visual identity, presentation, and spatial planning across our store network. This role is primarily focused on core Visual Merchandising—leading end-to-end VM setups or new store openings, strategizing seasonal rollouts, and continuously updating and refreshing established stores. Knowledge of store design and spatial planning is a strong plus, enabling you to align visual merchandising plans seamlessly with store layouts, fixture placements, and architectural flows.

Key Responsibilities

- New Store Openings &
- VM Setup
- Lead the end-to-end visual execution for all new store launches, from initial floor plan review to final display installation.
- Strategize store zoning, hero product placements, window displays, and customer navigation paths prior to launch.
- Partner with contractors, vendors, and store operations teams to ensure on-time setup and visual readiness for grand openings.
- Visual Merchandising Strategy &
- Planning
- Create, document, and roll out seasonal VM strategies, guidelines, and visual toolkits across the store network.
- Align visual strategies with commercial goals, buying plans, key marketing campaigns, and product drops.
- Analyze sales performance, footfall, and conversion metrics to optimize product placement and maximize revenue per square foot.
- Network-Wide Updates &
- Existing Store Refreshers
- Plan and execute ongoing VM updates,



seasonal floor flips, and promotional campaign changes across existing stores.
- Conduct regular visual audits and store visits to maintain consistency and uphold high visual presentation standards.
- Identify underperforming areas in existing stores and implement corrective visual and product layout changes.
- Leveraging Store Design Knowledge (Strategic Advantage)
- Interpret floor plans, store drawings, and fixture layouts to enhance VM planning and product density.
- Collaborate with store design and project teams during store buildouts to ensure VM operational needs and lighting/prop requirements are factored in early.
- Team Leadership &
- Vendor Management
- Mentor, train, and manage field VM teams and store staff to build visual merchandising capability across the organisation.
- Manage relationships with external production vendors for props, signage, window graphics, and display fixtures within allocated budgets.

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Experience: 7 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Visual Merchandising within the retail sector (fashion, lifestyle, or general retail preferred).
- Core VM Expertise: Proven track record in executing current store VM setups, floor sets, window installations, and network-wide visual changes.
- Store Design Aptitude (Plus): Strong understanding of store design principles, space planning, floor plans, and architectural CAD/3D drawings to aid VM planning.
- Commercial Mindset: Strong ability to connect visual presentation with retail KPIs (conversion, units per transaction, sales density).
- Project &
- Team Management: Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing project timelines, field teams, and external production vendors.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising
