Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at THE REALTY NEWS.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and refining video content sourced from various real estate-related materials, including interviews, news clips, podcasts, and video blogs. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing footage, adding transitions, graphics, and text overlays, optimizing audio quality, and ensuring brand consistency in all video outputs.



The role also involves collaborating with content and marketing teams to create engaging short-form and long-form videos suitable for web and social media distribution.

The Video

Editor will manage video files, maintain organized project archives, and deliver content on schedule to support regular platform updates.

Qualifications

- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software.
- Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, and visual effects using tools such as After Effects or comparable applications.
- Proficiency in audio editing, sound design, and mixing dialogue, music, and effects for clear, balanced output.
- Knowledge of digital content formats, aspect ratios, and optimization for web, social media, and mobile viewing.
- Ability to interpret storyboards or briefs and transform raw footage into coherent, engaging narratives.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects, media assets, and version control in a remote workplace.
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistent branding, style, and quality standards.
- Prior experience creating content related to news, real estate, or business topics is an advantage.
